All courses are now full for 2025

As part of an Irish course in Coláiste Phobal Chléire we provide three kinds of supervised activities for the pupils. The main aim of each one of them is to encourage conversation in Irish between the pupils

1) Social Activities - usually at night: Céilí, Table Quiz, Sand castle ‘competition’, Singing & music competition (songs and music the pupils create themselves), Treasure hunt, Drama, Bonfire and marshmallow roasting

2) Sports Activities - usually in the afternoons: various team games in the playing field, swimming.

3) Drama and Art - these are often ongoing activities which are started in the classroom and continued on certain afternoons. Their results are then presented at the end of the course.

If you would like to bring your own musical instrument you’re very welcome to do so!

Social activities are held on six nights per week. One night per week is free.
